In Spring, gloriously perfumed wisteria climbs up the front of the Starch Green house. Dartmoor is a favourite Easter destination with coconut-scented gorse in abundance and blackthorn and primroses lining the green lanes. A cherry tree blown over in Ravenscourt Park brings blossom down to ground level, whilst violets grow in the shade.
