Deep in the damp centre of Dartmoor, a small hamlet, Lettaford, is a rural idyll with stream, meadow and ancient track to the moor. An ash twig with reindeer moss, a faceted flint, violet, spleenwort, polypody, a crow’s iridescent feather and a fiddlehead of bracken.
